FOR THE HEROINE.

Assalaam alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu dearest brothers and sisters.
How have you been so far?
If you're still a Muslim, then Alhamdulillah, you are Okay then.

Yes!  Something happened yesterday at the law school.  If you don't know before, then I want to  tell you now.

For so many decades, hijab had not been allowed in the Nigerian law school.  So, Muslimahs are denied their rights to freedom of religion.  That's ironic!  People who trains people to fight for Human Rights and not to be unjust, are now the people who are infringing on the rights of their students and thereby unjust!  That's sarcastic.

PATIENCE: Musa and Khidr as case study 2.

Assalaam alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu dearest brothers and sisters!

How have you been all this while?  Hope you've been patiently waiting for the concluding part of Musa and Khidr's story?

Don't worry dear, the concluding part is right here!!!

As I was saying, Musa and his boy servant retraced their step back to the place where the fish Got back into the river.

As they got there, they met Khidr, a very knowledgeable and wise man!  Maa sha Allah?! Alhamdulillah that they patiently retraced their steps!  Khidr is a very knowledgeable man to the extent that he could know what will happen in the future, that which Allah allowed him to know.

PATIENCE: Musa and Khidr as case study.

Assalaam alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu brothers and sisters.
It's been a while! However, I will like to share with you something from what I have learnt.

Patience can be said to be the quality of being able to deal with a difficult situation without becoming angry or reacting negatively.

If that's the case, then let's learn how and why we should be patient from Prophet Musa(A.S.) and Khidr's story.   Prophet Musa (A. S.)  is a prophet and messenger to the children of Israel. Khidr?  Some regard him as a Prophet while some believe he's a very pious person whom Allah gifted with the ability to know some of what might happen in the future.

WOMEN'S DIGNITY: THE LOST TREASURE.

Don't mind me, am a female and am always concerned about the conditions of ladies nowadays. And that's why am starting with something feminine.

WHAT'S DIGNITY?  It's the quality of being worthy of honor and respect. A state of being worthy, honored or esteemed.

TREASURE? Something valuable, special and important which is kept in a safe place, usually covered.

During the Jahiliyyah (ignorant)  period, women were disrespected, dishonored and degraded to a worthless and disvalued being who do not deserve anything, even being alive. As a result, many females were buried alive because they were seen as mere burden that don't have any benefit.  Those that were not buried were dishonored and seen as property less than a human being.

INTRODUCTION: WELCOME TO MY BLOG

Assalaam alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu dear readers. Hope everything is going on well?

Well, This is just an introduction. Here, am going to tell you a little bit about myself and the reason(s) why this blog was created.

Am Hamidah Abdulfattah by name, a bonafide citizen of Nigeria and a Muslim in all sense of it. Mind you, am not perfect, not at all but am striving to attain that highest level of piety (being a muhsinah). May Allah help me and you to reach that rank (Aamin).

As I am, am not selfish (nope!)  not at all ! So because of this, I deem it fit to create an avenue where I will be writing and sharing what I think will be beneficial to me and you. I mean those things that will help us all in attaining that highest level of eeman. In short, I will be sharing what will make us better Muslim sisters and brothers.
