FOR THE HEROINE.

Assalaam alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu dearest brothers and sisters.
How have you been so far?
If you're still a Muslim, then Alhamdulillah, you are Okay then.

Yes!  Something happened yesterday at the law school.  If you don't know before, then I want to  tell you now.

For so many decades, hijab had not been allowed in the Nigerian law school.  So, Muslimahs are denied their rights to freedom of religion.  That's ironic!  People who trains people to fight for Human Rights and not to be unjust, are now the people who are infringing on the rights of their students and thereby unjust!  That's sarcastic.

So, this very yesterday, this pious Muslim law student, May Allah preserve her eeman insisted that she wasn't going to remove her hijab.  Because of this, she was denied entrance into the hall and therefore, wasn't called to the bar.

This sister remains steadfast on her religion despite the fact that she was the only one that was ready to fight for Allah's religion. She refused to be a coward and she only fear Allah and not human.  I believe this sister must be supported with anything we can do to support her.  And to this heroine,  I present this....

AMASA, You're celebrated.
Alhamdulillah, that yourself you presented,
For the achievement of what Allah stated.
In the worldly things, you're not interested.
You only wanna do what Allah dictated.

The laws made by humans you rejected.
You prefer the Creator to the created.
Your courage must be appreciated!
May your reputation with Allah not be tainted.

Oppression is what you rejected.
Human Rights are what you accepted.
Your action is duly applauded.
So never feel rejected and dejected.

May your good deeds be accepted,
And your initiation be adopted.
You're never defeated.
Your place in jannah is uninhabited.

Your stance is ever supported.
Those who disagreed are the wicked.
So, never feel dejected!
For their opinions shouldn't be counted.

You refuse to be intimidated.
May Allah reward you, undiluted,
Abundantly and unrestricted.
Jazaakumullahu khairan, that's how it's said.
But no matter what, for Justice; it must be contested!

From humblehamidah, to Amasa Firdausa, for her courage and eeman as she speaks against oppression and insists that hijab is important, no matter the circumstance. May Allah reward you abundantly Sis,

Humblehamidah says No to oppression,
She says Hijab must be worn for call to bar.

May Allah keep us steadfast like this sister...
Assalaam alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu
